Music Video: Hot Chip ‘Elenor’
This was a job with Scale Model Studios, London, for UK band Hot Chip and Partizen production company.
I worked alongside a great team of talented model makers and animators, working on many different scale props, as well as set decoration and puppet adjustments and costuming.
Due to production restrictions I cannot show the behind-the-scenes making of individual props, but I have captioned the screengrabs below explaining some of my work throughout this production.

I made the keys for the keyring from palight.

I made the duct work and AC unit for the building decoration

I helped assemble and dress these buildings, including painting, flocking, aging, making curtains and shutters, and applying graffiti (including adding a few music/band related easter eggs!)

More buildings. I also made the boom mic, with foam, wood and wire, painted the video camera, and helped with some of the wiring for lighting

I made sweets from clay and beads, and the top section of the sweet stall from balsa and fabric. I also helped paint and texture all of the roads and footpaths.

I sculpted several of these black birds from Sculpy with wire and foil armature

I created this candy floss on a stick from pink roving and wood.

It need to be able to be animated for the shot.

I built and decorated the desk lamp in this shot, from epoxy putty and square K&S

I made and sewed the puppet’s trousers

I designed and constructed this puppet’s matching twin piece costume, as well as padded out the puppet’s body. I also made the walker frame from wire.

I helped paint the set, the fridge, and built the sofa. It was made from foam board, cushion foam and fabric, then aged with paints. I also built the table from MDF and doweling. Also helped make several of the cushions.

I made this sofa alongside another crew member, and I designed and constructed the boss puppet’s jeans.

I helped build and paint the bed from balsa, and foam, and the bed side tables too.

I helped construct and dress this mirror

I made the label for the cassette tape
